Questions about the Diocesan Services Appeal

Programs, Cathedral focus of special three-year campaign
|
This is the first of five articles in the Catholic Herald that will answer questions about the Diocesan Services Appeal and explain why the 2002-2003 appeal is different than those in prior years.
Why do we have a DSA fund?
The Diocesan Services appeal is the major source of funding for the ministries, programs and services of the Dioceses of Superior. When you give to the DSA you are sharing the gifts God has given you to meet the needs of your brothers and sisters in Christ.
How is the money spent?
For the past fourteen years, the DSA has provided a significant portion of the financial resources that help the diocese give form to the vision we all share as disciples of Christ. The success of the DSA is rooted in the understanding that as an expression of our discipleship we desire and have the responsibility of fulfilling Christ's mission in our personal lives, our parish communities and in our diocese. No parish stands alone in meeting the ministerial needs of its members.
If you have additional questions about the DSA or the preservation and enhancement of the Cathedral of Christ the King, Tarnowski can be reached at 715-392-2937.
