SUPERIOR -- In a global effort called "Love Bears All Things," to comfort young people around the world, the Cathedral School in Superior has been collecting teddy bears.

Under the guidance of project organizers and Cathedral School teachers Arlene Nordeen and Ginny Leopold, two shipments of the stuffed animals have already gone out. The first 80 bears were sent to the Covenant House in New York, N.Y. After Fr. Leon Flaherty, CPPS, associate pastor at the cathedral, connected the group up with an orphanage operated by his order, some 150 stuffed animals were sent on to Bangalore, India. A third shipment is being planned for Zambia, Africa.

Nordeen said as long as they are supplied with bears, the project will continue.
